Lessons for kids
One-on-one lessons for children 6 and up. Instruction is geared toward RCM exam prep and includes:

Students receive a fundamental conservatory training, with a focus on healthy technique, supplemented by fun pieces of their choosing (such as holiday music, Taylor Swift songs, movie themes, etc.).
Lessons for adults
One-on-one lessons for adults. Brush up on old skills or start from scratch. Learn the music that interests you from a variety of repertoire choices (classical, pop, movie themes, beginner jazz, etc.) while learning fundamentals of music theory and healthy technique. RCM exam prep is available for those interested.
Students have the opportunity to perform for peers and connect socially in a casual setting every few months.
Location / Availability
Lessons take place in my home studio near Withrow and Logan.
Evening and weekend sessions are currently full.

About Mary
I hold a Bachelor of Music from McGill University, an ARCT in Piano Performance, and a Graduate Certificate in Music Composition from Humber College. I am an RCM Certified Teacher.
Over the past fifteen years, I have prepared dozens of students for piano and theory exams, with over 40 of them achieving first class honours or higher.
I teach in my home studio at Withrow and Logan on a 6’4 Boston grand.
